THE wild, wet weather didn’t stop thousands of schoolies partying in Surfers Paradise overnight.
Ten male school leavers were arrested on 12 charges for public nuisance and street offences, and four were also charged with drug offences.
Police also issued 11 schoolies issued with liquor infringement notices for drinking in a public place.

Non-schoolies continue to cause the most trouble for police in the precinct, with 14 people arrested on 17 charges mainly for public nuisance and street offences, with three receiving liquor infringement notices.
