Police have made a massive discovery on the Gold Coast, seizing more than $2 million worth of drugs and cash.
Search warrants were executed by members of the Gold Coast Rapid Action Patrols on storage sheds at Crown Court, Varsity Lakes and Greg Chappell Drive, Burleigh Heads last Friday.
Inside the sheds police located a total of 27 kilograms of MDMA tablets which equates to 90,000 tablets with an estimated street value of $1.8 million.

Also located was $426,000 in cash, 39 grams of methamphetamine, eight grams of cannabis, two firearms and ammunition along with large quantities of prescribed medication.
Officers believe that the total dollar value of the items seized including the cash is more than $2 million dollars.
A 29-year-old man from Miami has been charged with trafficking of a dangerous drug, supply of a dangerous drug, six counts of possession of a dangerous drug, 3 counts of unlawful possession of a restricted drug, two counts of unlawful possession of a weapon, unlawful possession of explosives, possessing anything used in the commission of a crime and possession of tainted property.
He is due to appear in Southport Magistrates Court today.
