POLICE have dismantled two Gold Coast drug gangs, arresting more than 30 people and seizing more than $40,000 in meth, cocaine and ecstasy.
This week, detectives from the Gold Coast CIB closed two projected drug investigations resulting in the arrests of 31 people on 84 charged for offences alleged to have occurred from Broadbeach to the northern suburbs.
Police said a varying amounts of dangerous drugs were seized during the operation, including cocaine, meth, cannabis, MDMA pills and steroids with a combined estimated street value of more than $40,000.

About $100,000 in cash and a number of weapons including firearms were also seized, and detectives are working to seize a number of assets believed to be obtained through the proceeds of crime.
Although both operating on the Gold Coast, police said the two local syndicates were separate and that there had been no known bikies arrested or links identified.
Investigations are ongoing and police have not ruled out further arrests.
