OVER 800 disabled kids from across the Gold Coast are set to take part in the 28th annual Gold Coast Cabs Annual Invitational Athletics Championships at the Runaway Bay Sports Super Centre tomorrow.
The event is the Coast’s only athletics carnival specifically for children with a disability, and gives them the rare opportunity to participate at a competitive level.
The kids will get to take part in approximately 400 events including track sprints, wheelchair events, a sports skills challenge and a Goodwill Games component.
