A new Netflix series about tidying up and decluttering the home has become the latest obsession for thousands of people around the world.
Tidying Up With Marie Kondo only premiered on the popular streaming service less than a week ago and its already sparked a frenzy, with viewers taking to social media to share stories and photos of their massive spring cleans.

The eight episode binge-worthy series centres around Japanese tidying expert Marie Kondo, who helps clients clear out the clutter by using her simple tidying technique known as the KonMari method.
This method encourages people to tidy their spaces by throwing out anything that no longer “sparks joy”.
“Thank them for their service – then let them go,” Marie Kondo says.
KonMari is also known for its unique folding strategy and use of boxes.
