Adairs issues recall for popular bedroom furniture pieces

Popular homewares store Adairs is recalling two pieces of their bedroom furniture range over health and safety fears.

The Panama Bedhead (Batch Numbers 184836 & 187168) and Panama Bedside Table (Batch Numbers 184836 & 187168) have been recalled because the “MDF component of the product was found to have levels of formaldehyde higher than our production specifications.”

According to the company, at the levels detected, the product may give off a pungent, irritating odour.
