Aldi recalls mayonnaise over glass contamination fears

ALDI has recalled a popular mayonnaise product from all of its stores due to faulty packaging.

The supermarket giant said in a recall notice posted this week that they have pulled all 466g jars of Colway Real Mayonnaise from shelves after it was discovered they have the potential for glass breakage.

“Faulty packaging could cause injury or result in glass contamination,” Aldi said.

Customers are being warned not to consume the German-made product and to return it to their nearest Aldi store for a full cash refund.
