ALERT: Aldi recalls popular pancake shake mix

ALDI Australia has had to issue a recall on a popular pancake shake mix after it was discovered it contained an undeclared allergen.

The supermarket giant said the 375g White Mill Pancake Shake Original and Pancake Shake Buttermilk contained egg, however it wasn’t listed on the product.

“Consumers with an egg allergy or intolerance may have a reaction if these products are consumed,” the company wrote.

“Consumers with an egg allergy or intolerance should not consume these products.”

The affected batches include those with a Best Before date of: 23/07/19; 24/07/19; 25/07/19; 01/08/19; 02/08/19; 03/08/19

Anyone with an egg allergy or intolerance is being urged to return the product for a full cash refund.
