A Bikie who lied about being a soldier and fire fighter during a trial over the Broadbeach bikie brawl will walk free.
Peter James Andrews pleaded guilty to impersonating a soldier and perverting the course of justice in a Brisbane Court today.
When Andrews was on trial in December for his part in the mass bikie brawl last year – he told the court he’d served in the army and had done stints in Somalia and Bougainville.

He also claimed he served in the Rural Fire Service and battled blazes around New South Wales in 2009.
But he was later charged after both claims were found to be untrue.
During his 224 days in custody Andrews’s was subject to a special bikies-only regime where he was kept in his cell for 18 hours a day and denied visitation rights.
He’ll be released this afternoon.
