Investigations are underway after a car erupted into flames on the Gold Coast this afternoon.
Queensland Fire and Emergency Service crews were called to bushland in Nerang, near Station Street, around 12.45pm, following reports of a large blaze.
Upon arrival, they found a car fully engulfed in flames in the middle of the bush.

Thankfully it didn’t take crews too long to bring it under control, however witnesses reported seeing thick black smoke billowing into the sky.
A Queensland Police spokesperson told myGC the vehicle is believed to have been stolen.
Investigations are continuing.
