Mayor Tom Tate says 60 never looked this good.

“The Gold Coast has grown into a thriving city over the last six decades.

“While we look back fondly on our history, the City’s future is bright and I’m excited for what is to come.

“What better way to celebrate than with the Gold Coast’s very own Amy Shark, a talented Gold Coast line-up, some local food trucks and of course a spectacular fireworks display to finish the night,” said Mayor Tate.

Amy Shark says she’s excited to headline the City’s birthday bash.

“I adore the Gold Coast and I’m excited to come home to perform at my home town where it all began.

“There is nothing better than a Gold Coast party,” said the Gold Coast’s Artist of the Year.
