Young girl missing from Elanora found safe and well

UPDATE @ January 25: A 12-year-old girl reported missing from Elanora has been located.

The youngster was last seen on Friday morning but hadn’t been heard from since, with concerns held for her welfare.

Police confirmed in a statement on Saturday morning that the girl has since been found safe and well.

EARLIER @ January 24: Police are appealing for public help to locate a 12-year-old girl who has been missing from Elanora since today.

The girl was last seen on Tipuana Drive around 9.30am and has not been heard from since.

Police and family hold concern for her welfare as her disappearance is out of character.

The girl is described as Caucasian with a fair complexion, around 130cm tall with a proportionate build, dark brown hair and blue eyes.

She was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, dark jeans and carrying a purple backpack.

Anyone who may have seen the girl or knows her whereabouts is urged to contact Police.
