Lawyers for Mel Gibson's ex have fronted an appeals court in California.

Oksana Grigorieva wants to disqualify the Actor's lawyers from handling a custody dispute over their baby daughter.

It's alleged that she sought advice from the same firm in a paternity dispute with another actor, Timothy Dalton, three years ago.  She claims Mel had recommended the firm at the time.

Oksana has asked the appeals court to force her ex to find another legal firm to work with ahead of a key hearing later this month.
