Jimmy Barnes has been told to put his feet up, following the veteran rocker's latest health scare.
The 55-year-old Cold Chisel front-man was forced to cancel a series of concerts, after experiencing chest pains on Tuesday, according to The Australian.
"I hate to cancel shows and over the years I've very rarely done it," Barnes said in a statement. "Sorry to anyone who's been let down by this."
It comes just days after Cold Chisel announced they're reuniting for a tour, which will include a show at the Gold Coast Convention Centre on October 30.
Barnes, who had heart surgery in 2007, has been told to rest for four weeks, but is expected to be well in time to start rehersals for the much-anticipated comeback tour.
Tickets for the Gold Coast concert go on sale through Ticketek next week.
