The picture editor of Britain's Daily mail has revealed he sees hundreds of photographs of Pippa Middleton each day.

Mr Silva was answering questions at the Leveson Inquiry, a judge-led investigation into the ethics of the British media.

Paul Silva said the younger sister of Kate Middleton has around 9 photographers following her every move.

Since the royal wedding, Mr Silva said the Daily Mail has not used paparazzi photos of Pippa Middleton, even though he received 300 to 400 of her a day.

"Her just coming out of her door every day, there's no reason to use it," he said.

The inquiry was set up to investigate the phone-hacking scandal, largely centred on Rupert Murdoch's News of the World.
