Big Brother is set to keep it's prying eyes on the Coast.

After months of speculation, Dreamworld today announced it would once again be the home of the hit TV series.

Bir Brother is scheduled to re-launch on the Nine Network later this year after a four year break.

Dreamworld Chief Executive Officer Todd Coates said the Big Brother house and studios will become an iconic attraction on the Gold Coast.

"It is fantastic news for Dreamworld, and also for the local film and tourism industries.  Dreamworld is proud to participate in this significant investment into the Gold Coast,” he said.

Southern Star Executive Producer for Big Brother 2012, Alex Mavroidakis said he is thrilled to bring Big Brother back to its natural home on the Gold Coast.

“Our hub at Dreamworld always allows us to create a show that is truly dynamic. We’re excited to build a brand-new House that will exceed Housemate and audience expectations,” he said.
