An Australian first will be unveiled at Dreamworld tomorrow as the barriers are peeled away to reveal the new DreamWorks Experience.
The ribbon will be cut by the theme park’s CEO at 10am, allowing the first guests to charge in and explore the new lands, just in time for the Easter holidays.
Never ones to miss out on an adventure; Shrek, Alex the Lion and Po will welcome guests into their new lands for the first time as families are let loose to enjoy the new look rides, attractions and new live stage show in lands Faire Faire Away, Madagascar Madness and Po’s Garden.
The new 8,400sqm DreamWorks Experience replaces the former childrens’ area which was previously themed to Nickelodeon.
Prior to that, anyone who visited Dreamworld in the 80s and 90s would remember the area as the Village Green, housing the Avalanche and Carousel and we can’t forget Kennyland.
Now, a new generation of kids gets to enjoy rides themed to their favourite DreamWorks characters.
