A Tweed school bus driver is under fire for twice leaving kids alone on the side of the road.
Mum Lee Jackson claims the Surfside employee dropped her five and six year old children at Kennedy Drive and drove off before their connecting bus arrived to take them to Bilambil Public School.
She claims it is not the first time the kindergarten and year one kids have been left by the roadside.
A Surfside spokeswoman confirmed the incidents are under investigation.
The complaint comes in National Child Protection Week (NCPW).
