A number of events have been called off this weekend, with the wet weather to blame.

Three Gold Coast Parks events scheduled for this weekend have had to be cancelled due to the ongoing wet weather.

Movies in the Park at Justins Park, Burleigh on Saturday has been cancelled.

Also axed is the Jazz in the Park event at Paradise Point Parklands and the Wet Wild Water Fun Day at the Broadwater Parklands, both scheduled to take place on Sunday.

The Mudgeeraba Farmers Markets has been postponed for a fortnight, as the Mudgeeraba Showgrounds are currently flooded.
