A number of roads remain closed today, with flooding still an issue.
The following roads are closed:
OXENFORD - Tamborine-Oxenford Road (John Muntz Causeway)
BONOGIN - Hardys Road
GUANABA - Birds Roads, Billiau Road, Piggotts Road
WONGAWALLAN - Wongawallan Road, Upper Ormeau Road,
TALLEBUDGERA VALLEY - Mt Cougal Road, Tallebudgera Creek Road (past Dickfos Road)
COULSON - Beaudesert Boonah Road
SPRINGBROOK - GC Springbrook Rd (between Austinville & Pine Creek Roads)
BEECHMONT - Beechmont Road (between North St and Nerang Murwillumbah Road)
Water has also been spotted over the road at:
Clagiraba Rd at Heritage Dr and Coomera river Causeway
Mudgeeraba Crk Causeway at Springbrook Rd
Exit 85 off ramp on M1
Somerset Dr and GC Springbrook Rd at Firth Park Mudgeeraba
Authorities are urging motorists if it's flooded, forget it.

A number of Gold Coast beaches are also closed.
Council maintenance crews are continuing to clear debris at Mermaid Beach, Hilda Street, Seashell Avenue, and Margaret Avenue, while Clifford Street, Narrowneck and Breaker Street are closed due to unstable beach conditions.
