Thousands are set to descend upon Coolangatta this weekend when the Cooly Rocks On Festival kicks off on Friday.
 
This year, Australia’s number one ‘50s and ‘60s inspired nostalgia festival is sure to have locals and tourists rockin’ and rollin’, with 11 action-packed days of events.

On offer this year; non-stop rock’n’roll, rockabilly, swing, dancing, competitions, music, live performances, Miss Pin Up Australia, hot rod cars, street cruises, bikes, retro markets and more.

Plus on the 9th and 10th June, the main streets of Coolangatta will be shut down for one massive dance party.

For the first time, Cooly Rocks On will open a surf precinct at Kirra, which will celebrate the surfing scene of the Southern Gold Coast of the ‘50s and ‘60s.
