Charges have been laid over an attempted armed robbery which happened just north of the Coast two years ago.
Detectives from the Gold Coast Major Crime Squad and Special Emergency Response Team made an arrest in Woodridge last week.
The Logan resident is accused of trying to hold-up a bank in Browns Plains in 2010. He allegedly walked into Grand Plaza holding a gun in May 2010.
He's been slapped with several charges including attempted armed robbery, burglary, stealing, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and various driving offences.
The would-be robber is allegedly a member of an Outlaw Motorcycle Gang.
The 35-year-old is expected to face the Brisbane Magistrates Court today.
