A plan to develop a $4.9 billion cruise ship terminal in the Broadwater is moving full steam ahead.

Singapore based company Sembawang unveiled plans to develop a cruise ship, marina, residential, commercial and entertainment precinct, and community parklands and beach on Wavebreak Island last month.

Before submitting a proposal to the State Government or Gold Coast City Council, Sembawang wants to gauge the Gold Coast community's response to the project.

Gold Coasters are invited to provide feedback and comment on the proposal through an online survey.
