Shocking accusations have been made about the Catholic church-run Boystown home in Beaudesert.
In a 60 Minutes report aired on Sunday, a solicitor revealed 35 ex-students are behind legal action underway in the Queensland Supreme Court.
The ex-students claim the Catholic De La Salle brothers, who operated the home for troubled boys in the 70s, 80s and 90s, performed forced strip searches.
They also told Channel Nine, they were sexually abused and tortured.
The boss of Boystown, which is now run independently of the brothers, has confirmed there will be an investigation launched into the claims.
