Jerrad Tyson is gaining a reputation as one of Hyundai A-League’s most promising young goalkeepers.
The Gold Coast United Gloveman has had a string of fine saves and three clean sheet games since Glen Moss tore his groin.
The 21-year old has revealed his confidence has improved in each game since taking the field.
“I’ve tried to take it one game at a time and now looking back over the last five or six games I’m happy with how I’ve developed,” he said.
“Obviously it’s a massive learning curve for me. I’m really enjoying it and trying to take as much out of it as I can.
Glen Moss was given the all clear yesterday and will start to resume some light gym work.
“He’s done really well and is obviously a very good young goalkeeper. The more he plays the more confident he’ll get,” Moss said.
In other united news, striker Dylan Macallister has developed a grade two hamstring strain and will not play for up to six weeks.
