ATM stolen from service station

POLICE are on the hunt for two men who stole an Automatic Teller Machine from a service station this morning.

Around 3.45am two men backed a stolen vehicle towards the front doors of a Mount Gravatt-Capalaba Road service station.

While the attendant was at the back of the store one of the men entered and tied a rope or cable around the ATM.

He then attached the rope to the rear of the vehicle and used the vehicle to pull the ATM out of the building causing extensive damage to the front doors. The two men loaded the machine onto the vehicle and drove away.

No one was physically injured during the incident.

Police investigations are continuing.
