AUSTRALIA has clinched victory in the final clash of the Twenty20 series against South Africa in dramatic fashion.
Chasing South Africa’s score of 6-145, Australia reached their target with just two balls to spare on Sunday.
The result clinched a 2-1 series win for Australia, who lost the first match in Adelaide last Wednesday and then squared the series in Melbourne on Friday.

Australian openers Aaron Finch and Ben Dunk put on 40 off 4.4 overs but got out just as they started to get on a roll.
The home team then slumped to 4-62 in the ninth over, after Nic Maddinson and Shane Watson fell in successive overs.
Cameron White and fellow Victorian Glenn Maxwell looked to be cruising towards an early victory until Maxwell was caught out, leaving the side needing 46 off 43 balls.
But they Aussie side managed to pull of the miraculous victory after all seemed lost, with just two balls to spare.
Then two nations now meet in a five-match one-day series starting in Perth on Friday.
