Australians reportedly injured in serious bus and truck crash in Germany

A bus carrying dozens of tourists from Australia, Canada and the United State has collided with a truck in Germany.

It’s understood the horror crash happened near Heidelberg, with a number of people seriously injured.

Several helicopters and emergency crews have been called to the scene.

The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade says they’re working to establish if any Australians are among those who have been hurt.

“Australian officials in Germany are making urgent enquiries with local authorities to confirm the identity and condition of any Australians involved in the bus incident near Heidelberg”

More to come.
