Australia’s COVID-19 death toll rises to 27

The national death toll has climbed again, the third death reported around the country today.

A 75-year-old man has passed away in New South Wales, following the death of another woman in New South Wales today and a man in Victoria overnight.

New South Wales has now recorded 12 deaths.

It’s understood the man was a passenger on the Ovation of the Seas cruise ship.

He passed away in Wollongong.

The national death toll is now at 27.
