Postie charged with stealing cash and gift cards

A POSTIE will face court, accused of stealing goodies from envelopes. It’s alleged the 24-year-old man took items of value, such as gift cards and cash, while working as a postal delivery driver at a depot in Prestons, Sydney. He has been charged with five counts of appropriate mail receptacle and bailed to appear in court next month.
