Bananarama to perform Gold Coast show at The Star in February 2019

Iconic ‘80s pop duo Bananarama are set to perform on the Gold Coast next February, with 1029 Hot Tomato’s Flan, Emily Jade & Christo announcing the exciting news on air this morning.

Sara Dallin and Keren Woodward will hit the stage at The Star Gold Coast on February 28, 2019, and will entertain locals with a slew of their hits, including ‘Shy Boy’, ‘Cruel Summer’, ‘Robert De Niro’s Waiting’ and the eternally iconic ‘Venus’.

After making the announcement this morning, Emily Jade said she was thrilled to be welcoming the duo back to the Gold Coast.

“I am super excited! They are a band from my youth!” she said.

“They are the most successful female band worldwide, with the most charting singles according to the Guiness Book of Records.”

Special guests Tiffany, whose tracks include ‘I Think We’re Alone Now’ and ‘Could’ve Been’, and Amber, whose solo hits include ‘This Is Your Night’ and ‘Sexual (Li Da Di)’, will also be performing on the night.

Bananarama are absolute ‘80s royalty and their Gold Coast show is set to be a sellout. Fans can get their hands on presale tickets from Thursday via frontiertouring.com/bananarama, with the remaining tickets to go on sale on Monday October 29 via premier.ticketek.com.au/.
