IT has been revealed that a bank in Phillip Hughes hometown of Macksville in New South Wales has been targeted by armed robbers, ahead of his funeral service.
Three men are accused of walking into the Banana Coast Credit Union with knives and a sawn off 22 calibre rifle on Monday afternoon, according to media reports.
They allegedly threatened staff and demanded cash. Staff agreed and trio left.

No one was injured during the robbery.
It comes after Michael Clarke arrived in Macksville for the cricketer’s farewell. The service will be telecast live by Networks Seven and Nine and the ABC on Wednesday afternoon.
