Well its official, whilst Coco Chanel can hold the title of “I don't do fashion, I am fashion”, sadly we cannot say the same for many race goers at Melbourne cup this year. Whilst there were many spectacular outfits - one of my fav being Jen Hawkins (dressed by Toni Maticevski) and Esther Anderson (who plays Charlie on Home and Away) dressed by a Stylist at Ch 7 and wearing Carla Zampatti (one of my most favourite of favourite designers, along with her daughter Bianca Spender), there were many who clearly don't understand the difference between dressing for the races and a Saturday night out!!

As the Spring Carnival draws to a close and Milliners can start to get some sleep, the focus now turns to Christmas. Can you believe its only 7 weeks away?? Before Christmas though, comes all those wonderful Chrissy Parties....what to wear I hear you ask? Depending on the occasion will naturally depend but classy, casual and natural is my 2 cents...

So, since Ive started writing these blogs, my husband said to me the other day what about writing one for the guys??? I can’t believe I have completely neglected the male species in my blogs till now – how could I - Especially when I have male clients. I guess I sometimes forget and get carried away writing about women, because come on lets face it, women and fashion are usually side by side each other in every sentence, so next week I will start my ode to the male fashionista with some trends for the males and how guys can get an edge on what they are wearing. I will quickly mention Witchery Man at Robina – was out there yesterday its like a little injection of Melb into the GC, its great, if you haven’t checked it out, pop out there, you won't be disappointed!
