Im in love! On the weekend I discovered a new fashion label, well not exactly new, but new to me!!! I read about Mela Purdie in the Financial Review earlier this month. Mela actually started her label in 2001 when she saw a niche in the market for clothes that were stylish and able to travel, hence her line being called “Clothes that travel with you”.

So, on the weekend I was delightfully surprised as I wandered down James St in Burleigh to come across an injection of her collection in Carmels. Classic, casual but oh-so stylish jersey! Every piece I put on like her website says are designed to skim not cling, really created a slimming line!!! I was thinking, "I’ll have one of everything, in every colour", until I looked at the price – not cheap but definitely worth spending the $ on, as the quality was amazing. Subtle neutrals are her choice of colours, perfect in my opinion. She is so on the money with her label!
