Fashion of course! |

Well, I don't know about you, but I am hanging for an injection of new fashion to hit the retail stores. Don’t get me wrong, not that I have the $ to do so after Christmas and having my appendix out… Sales are great but after about a month of them, the stock levels start to dwindle and you get a bit sick of seeing the same old stuff not in your size. I’ve been holding off revisiting the shops the last couple of weeks, because usually come the 2nd-3rd week of Jan retailers start showcasing new seasons goodies! Yah!!! So its full steam ahead on the saving wagon for me.
So, what does one fashion and styleaholic do whilst sales are winding up? As easy as it would be to replace my shopping habit with another form of habit, I think I've consumed my fair share of wine this year…already!! For me it’s all about reading and researching and getting ready for 2010! I’m always looking to see who is doing what, what direction brands are taking this year – I love a bit of inside news as to what inspiration some companies are drawing on and the colour palettes they will be focusing their range on…if only I could spill the beans, Id love too, really I would, but I have to stay tight lipped for now. All I can say is that I’m excited, as excited as good old Big Kev use to get!
Fashions are however very much alive and afloat with Magic Millions on the Gold Coast last week and Girls Day out on Sat. I must say I enjoyed sifting through the fashions and seeing the spectacular and some rather interesting outfits. A HUGE congratulations to the woman who took out the Best Classic Race wear Category – Natalie Letford, she truly was Audrey Hepburn reincarnated. She looked so classy and elegant.
