This blog entry is long long over due – well about 3 weeks to be precise and in my books that’s long enough for fashion trends to change multiple times…however lucky in this instance, I’ve found another gem which will be going no where (I hope) and will remain in the forefront of my wardrobe for many seasons to come….Welcome Lounge Apparel.

Let me fill you in a little on how I came to find out about Lounge. Whilst at the Middletons Fashion Law Breakfast (part of the L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival), I exchanged smiles with a lady across the room. Noticing how lovely she looked, I complimented her on what she was wearing. Asking what label it was (don’t get me wrong, it’s not the first thing I usually start a conversation with, however it felt as if this woman and I had known each other for years and were simply catching up). To my delight the woman – whose name is Helen Reizer from Two Hands PR Agency (awesome name) looked after the PR / Marketing for Lounge Apparel. Carmen Bianco - the wife of shoe god Tony Bianco, is the talented and dedicated woman behind this simply stylish contemporary label.

Given the heatwave in Melbourne that week (which left me completely unprepared in the Wardrobe Dept) I was absolutely touched when Helen rang me and invited me to pop into the Lounge Showroom and choose an outfit to wear at various events during the week. There began my obsession with Lounge!!! I kid you not every time I have worn the lounge skirt/dress that I chose I have had someone ask me where I got it….so not only am I walking PR for them, it is one of the most loved and prized possessions now in my wardrobe. It travels everywhere with me.
