The bodies of a woman and child have been found inside a home on the NSW Central Coast in what is suspected to have been a tragic murder-suicide.
Emergency services were called to the property on Kilpa Road at Wyongah just before 2pm on Tuesday, after the body of a 47-year-old woman was found.
Upon arrival, officers also sadly discovered the body of a nine-year-old boy inside the home.

A crime scene was established and investigations into the deaths have been ongoing ever since.
Police have however confirmed that they’re not looking for anyone else in relation to the incident.
The young boy is believed to have attended a local school, who posted a notice to parents on their Facebook page overnight.
“By now many of you would have heard that one of our students and parent has passed away,” the school’s principal wrote.
“I wanted to confirm that the school will be open tomorrow and that we are ensuring that significant additional support is available for any student who may need it tomorrow and over the coming days.”
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
