Bond Pirates Rugby Union Club win $2500 Smiles All Round Sports Club Grant for February 2019

A Gold Coast rugby union club has scored a $2500 donation thanks to the Coastal Dental Care Smiles All Round Sports Club Grants.

The Bond Pirates Rugby Union Club received the highest number of votes on the myGC.com.au website to take out the fourth round of the grants.

The club currently has over 300 junior members, as well as a number of senior sides and a golden oldies team.

Junior President Randall Cook said they were thrilled to win the grant.

“It’s fantastic and we can’t wait to put the money to good use,” he told myGC.

“The grant will help us fund some training programs for the kids, as well as an advanced specialist course for our coaches.

“We are also in the process of building a much needed gear shed for the 2019 season, so the money will help us to finish that.”
