Boy, 12, airlifted to hospital after crashing motorbike through fence

A YOUNG boy has been airlifted to hospital after being flung from a motorbike on a property northwest of Port Macquarie.

It’s understood the 12-year-old came off the bike after crashing through a fence at Bril Bril on Saturday afternoon.

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was dispatched to the scene to airlift the child to hospital.


Paramedics treated the boy at the scene before he was flown to Newcastle’s John Hunter Hospital with suspected neck injuries.

He’s believed to be in a stable condition.
