A 14-YEAR-OLD boy has been subjected to a terrifying ordeal after allegedly finding two armed intruders rummaging through his parent’s house on the Gold Coast.
It’s understood the boy was alone at his family’s Broadbeach Waters home, sitting in his bedroom when he heard noises coming from inside the house about 2.30pm on Tuesday.
When he went to investigate, police said the boy was confronted by two men wearing balaclavas.

One of the intruders was allegedly armed with a knife, while the other was wielding a machete.
They allegedly accosted the boy and demanded property before fleeing the home with several items.
Thankfully, the teen was not physically harmed during the incident.
Gold Coast detectives are investigating and are pleading for anyone who may be able to assist them to come forward and call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
A Queensland Police spokeswoman told myGC detectives were not willing to disclose the street name.
