Boy, 15, charged after stealing car with baby inside

A 15-YEAR-OLD boy has been charged after allegedly stealing a car with an eight-month-old baby in it from outside a house at Logan.

Police said the teen jumped into the driver’s seat and drove off after the owner “momentarily parked the vehicle” on Prestige Drive at Marsden about 4.50pm last Saturday, police said.

What the teen didn’t know was he had taken a car with an eight-month-old baby still strapped inside.

The baby was unharmed and reunited with his parents after being checked over by paramedics.
