A 15-year-old boy alleged to have been behind the wheel of a stolen car when it crashed into a house, killing another teen, has been charged.
The accident happened in the Brisbane suburb of Stafford around 2am on Saturday September 22.
“It will be alleged that the boy was driving a stolen vehicle, containing two 15-year-old male passengers when it left the road, crashed through a fence and hit the front of a house on Appleby Road, killing one of the passengers,” Qld police said in a statement.

The boy and the other passenger fled on foot, whilst the injured teenager was left to die at the scene.
Following investigations into the smash, a 15-year-old boy was charged with one count each of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and driving without a licence.
Police say investigations are continuing.
