Boy, 17, killed in crash on small suburban street

A TEENAGE boy has been killed in a shocking crash on a small suburban street north of Brisbane.

It’s understood the 17-year-old lost control of a motorcycle and crashed outside a house at Kippa Ring just after midnight.

Emergency services were called to the scene on Kurumba Street around 12.20am.


Despite the best attempts of paramedics to keep the teen alive, he could not be saved and died at the scene, police said.

The Forensic Crash Unit is yet to determine the full circumstances surrounding the crash.

Police are appealing for anyone with footage of the motorcycle in the area or information about the incident to come forward and contact them.
