WE are being reminded to take care when out and about on board a boat this summer, following the death of a 6-year-old boy in Western Australia.
The boy fell out of the boat when the engine kicked into gear, sending the vessel into a spin, and was struck by the boat’s propeller on Sunday morning.
The incident occurred at a popular fishing and camping spot 26km northeast of Karratha.
