Boy shot outside family home

A TEENAGE boy has been shot after allegedly being lured outside his parents’ home in Adelaide.

The 16-year-old was reportedly shot in the arm outside of his family’s Martins Road home at Salisbury Downs, in the city’s north, just after 6.15am on Friday.

The boy was lured outside by someone yelling momens before he was shot, 9 News reported.


Paramedics treated the teen at the scene before taking him to Lyell McEwin Hospital.

He was transported in a stable condition.

Police are reportedly investigating whether the shooting is linked to an earlier altercation at the home.
