UPDATE at 4:25 PM | A NINE-YEAR-OLD boy at the centre of a large scale search west of Brisbane has been found.
Queensland Police confirmed the child was found safe and well just 25 minutes after issuing a public appeal.
The boy went missing in the small Somerset town of Lowood about 11am on Sunday, triggering a large scale search.

FIRST at 4:00 PM | POLICE are seeking urgent help to find a nine-year-old boy, missing west of Brisbane.
The boy went missing in the small Somerset town of Lowood about 11am on Sunday.
Queensland Police, the state emergency service and rural firefighters are right now conducting a large scale search of the semi-rural area and are urging local residents to search their properties.
