Police declared an emergency situation after the 42-year-old called in a bomb threat to emergency services just after 2pm on Tuesday afternoon.

“It’s very pleasing to say that the negotiators have successfully got the male to come to enter police custody and to resolve the matter without confrontation,” Inspector Joe Jaramazovic said.
This is the third emergency situation declared by Queensland Police since Saturday.
