A bushfire which forced the closure of Smith Street where it meets Pitcairn Way in Pacific Pines is still burning.
Fire crews are now waiting for blaze, which is under control and within containment lines, to burn out.
The fire, which started around 5pm yesterday, poses no threat to properties.

Volunteer Community Educators door knocked the area to inform residents of the blaze.
Residents are being urged to keep doors and windows closed and medication on hand if suffering from a respiratory illness.
Motorists are reminded to slow down, drive to conditions and be mindful of emergency workers and vehicles operating in the area.
If residents are concerned their property is under threat they are advised to call Triple Zero immediately.
