Police appeal for information after car stolen at gunpoint on the Gold Coast

POLICE say they are hunting two men after a vehicle was stolen from a Gold Coast business at gunpoint on Tuesday afternoon.

It’s alleged after both men entered the Kamholtz Court business at Molendinar around 5.15pm, one of them lifted his shirt to reveal what was believed to be a firearm and stated that they were taking a vehicle from the site.

Without any opposition, the two men then pushed the vehicle out of the business and onto the back of a tow truck and left the scene.

The tow truck is described as being white with a black tray, and the vehicle taken is only noted as being “yellow coloured” with no registration plates.

Police are urging anyone who may have seen these two vehicles, or who has any other information that could assist police in their investigations to contact Crime Stoppers or Policelink.
