Gold Coasters could score themselves a brand new car by donating to help an Ashmore mum of three undergo surgery for a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer.
Jennah Maurovic, 26, has been diagnosed with a life threatening Pineal Cystic Tumour, after she lost hearing in her right ear while pregnant with her third child.
Despite worsening symptoms, including blacking out while driving her three young children to school, Ms Maurovic says the public health system won’t operate to remove the tumour.

She has since enlisted the help of acclaimed neurosurgeon Dr Charlie Teo, who has performed more than 100 successful Pineal Cystic Tumour removals.
However, Ms Maurovic’s health insurance won’t cover Mr Teo’s $100,000 fee for the procedure as it is deemed “high risk”.
With not enough money to fund the surgery, Ms Maurovic’s fiance Zac McCumber approached his boss at Frizelle Sunshine Group and was blown away with their response.
The Frizelle Sunshine Group together with Rotary agreed to raffle off a car to raise funds for the young couple – donating a Fiat 500 Lounge 1.2 manual valued at $24,598.
Gold Coasters can purchase tickets to win the car, with all the funds from tickets sales to be donated to cover the costs of Ms Maurovic’s surgery.
Tickets cost $100, and there are only 1000 available for purchase. They are on sale until September 14, and can be purchased here: frizellesunshine.com.au/mccumber-family/
